Director - Mike Simons

Mike Simons joined the HEM staff in January 2005. Mike comes from the National Museum of Health and Medicine where he worked as Registrar. Mike has a BA from Kent State University and a MA from Southern Illinois University. He trained as an archeologist, doing fieldwork and research in India, Micronesia, the Greater Antilles, and the Eastern U.S.

Assistant Director - Rebecca Glasby

Rebecca Glasby recently graduated with a B.A. in Historic Preservation and a concentration in Museum Studies from the University of Mary Washington. Along with museums of all kinds, her interests include history, music, travel and she is a Girl Scout Gold Award recipient.

Administrator - Anne Mech
anne.mech@ngc.com
Anne Mech has been with the museum since March 2000. She had a career with what is now the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services before taking time off to raise four children. Anne lives in Ellicott City with her husband, son and youngest daughter.
