The faster science and technology advances the greater the challenge of preserving its milestones. There is no better example than the electronics industry, where the pace of progress has been extraordinary. Today we take for granted the dozens electronic necessities that evolved since just before WWII, when scientists, engineers, universities and businesses in Maryland and across the nation banded together to create a new industry. In times of peace and war, the world has witnessed a vast array of inventions that have enhanced mankind's productivity and quality of life.

Your support of the Historical Electronics museum's mission, which traces these great achievements, will help educate students, teachers and the public on the marvels of electronics, its benefits to the nation, and the many career opportunities for young people to participate in the partnership of science and engineering.
